On June 2011, the Cape Vincent Arts Council sponsored the second "A Celebration of Quilting" show. This exhibition showcased the work of artisans who quilt in Cape Vincent. Over 25 people submitted over 50 items. Demonstrations included: hand quilting; paper piecing; and eco-friendly fabric art. This one day show was held at Cape Vincent Recreation Park and was free to the public. The Arts Council hopes to sponsor another quilt show in 2013.
